Karen Lindia ~ I am a flawed follower of Jesus, the wife of a wonderful man, and the mom of four amazing sons. I like long hikes on cool days. I love observing God’s power in the ocean and his beauty in sunsets. I enjoy reading about Christian worldview issues and discipleship. My favorite book is the Bible (English Standard Version translation), and I get really excited when God opens up to me truths in his Word I’d not seen before. My favorite source of humor is my family, with my favorite memories being the times we couldn’t stop laughing together. Oh, and I love dogs, in an over-the-top kind of way.
My educational and professional background includes the following:
- Work in the public and private sectors with administrative and research responsibilities in the areas of professional ethics, hospital administration, corporate banking, and environmental policy and science.
- Dual masters degrees from Duke University in public policy and health administration.
- Undergraduate degree from St. Andrews Presbyterian College (now St. Andrews University) in the small town of Laurinburg, NC, where I majored in Political Science.
Life theme verse: “Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.” (Jeremiah 33:3)
